I have been listening to an audio book during my drive to and from work. It's called In the Company of the Courtesan. It is written by Sarah Dunant. I cannot decide if I like it or not. It's keeping me interested mostly, but I'm having a hard time empathising with the main characters. The language is a bit vulgar, too, but that should be expected considering the subject matter. For some reason it's bothering me. Also, the man who is reading the book has a very annoying voice so maybe it's not the writer's voice that is distracting me from enjoyment, but the voice of the reader.
