Hi there!
Just wanted to send you a quick note to let you know that Caleb is doing wonderfully in his first week of school. He’s participating frequently, has a great attitude, helps others, and follows directions very well. You would never know he is new to the district—he’s already made many friends! He’s a definite asset to our class.
It really made my day. Heck it made my week.Michaela has seemed much more calm and content the last two days when I picked her up. I hope this means everything is on an upswing for her. She is really looking forward to getting back to SOAR. I think the thing that was the best is when I picked her up today I asked if she had a good day and she said, "yeah." And, that was it. There was no, "except when..." that came out of her this time. That was SO nice.
At my school, I got three more students today so I am now at 15, which I think makes it safe for me since both the other first grade rooms has 18 or 19 in them.
