March 31, 2009

I stayed home with Michaela today. She has been coughing a lot. I was going to send her to school, but she went into a major coughing fit before we left and could hardly breath. So, I decided I needed to stay home and take her to the doctor. It turns out she has bronchitis. They put her on antibiotics and she's to stay home again tomorrow. She'll be with her grandparents tomorrow so I can go back to work.

I've spent a lot of the day going through pictures. I have discovered photo books. I've decided I want to make one of first day of school pictures of the kids. I am going to have to substitute a picture of Michaela at the park for the first day of third grade because I seem to have not taken one of her on that day. But, this picture at the park was taken just two days before she started school that year. I'm also adding KG graduation pictures to that photo book.

I am trying to decide if I'm going to make one of both of them together, or each separate. If I do separate, I'm going to wait a few years to make Caleb's. Michaela is in her last year at Null and will be going off to Middle School next year so it's a good time to make one of her by herself. In three years, Caleb will be that age.

I need to decide what other things I would like to make photo books of soon. Artscow has a coupon for 5 free photo books, but you have to place your order before April 10, I think it is. You still have to pay shipping, but that's ok.

Going through old pictures pretty much has me in tears, though. My kids are growing up way too fast. My babies are gone. Heck, I only have one little kid left and he's on the big end of little. Looking at Michaela's first day of Kindergarten next to her first day of 4th grade just about kills me.

March 30, 2009

It seems that there are a lot of times when I come up with several things I thing would be good to write about in my blog. But, when I sit down to write I can't remember what any of them were. Today was pretty uneventful and just a typical Monday, so not much to write about there. And, now I've sat and watched the cursor blink long enough. I guess I'll go edit some pictures instead.

March 29, 2009

Michaela and I were home by 9:00 a.m. this morning. Michael and Caleb were out getting donuts when we got home. I jumped into the shower first thing. I hate waking up all grimy after not having showered the night before.

Last night was a lot of fun. The girls were pretty well behaved. They got a little crazy at times, but they are kids. They settled down at lights out a lot faster than I thought they would. Definitely a lot faster than they did at camp last fall.

The Magic House had a more structured schedule than the one we had at The City Museum last year, but they seemed to have a hard time sticking to it. I mean, you expect it to be off some, but our troop was only given about 25 minutes to complete the 5 art projects they needed to complete to get their badge for the night. They also did not get to spend much time in the older part of the museum.

The new part is really cool. They have a fairy tale room and a giant three story bean stalk that the kids can climb on. There is a big music area with giant musical instruments. On the top floor of the new addition there's a mystery area where you can follow clues in an old library type room to figure out "who done it."

The library also has a secret passage that you can get to by going through the fire place or a revolving bookcase that has a secret button to open it. It's a Sherlock Holmes book that opens the door. There's a slide in the secret passage way.

On the bottom floor of the new part there is a court room, the Oval Office and an auditorium type room where kids can sing patriotic songs. Of course there are other things like air tubes and a tunnel to crawl through, also. There is a Poet Tree where kids can write poems and put them on the tree.

We were given pizza as a snack. They had it brought in from Domino's. Each person was allowed two pieces and also got a drink. It was good and I was ready to sit down and have a snack by the time we got our turn to eat.

The room our troop slept in was the meeting place for everyone so we could not even start to settle down until all the other troops came and got their stuff. It was VERY COLD in that room, too. We froze most of the night.

And, of course it picked early morning, middle of the night, to snow like crazy. Luckily it's been warm long enough that it did not stick to pavement. So, driving home was not bad.

I took about an hour nap this morning. Michaela zonked out for about four hours. But, she did take some allergy medicine when we got home, so I'm sure that contributed to it.

I've spent the rest of the day finishing up grades and getting my report cards finished. I'm so glad that job is over. It's such a task. Our district still doesn't have our online system set up to just print out report cards from the grades we put in the system so we have to get the grades off the system and record them on report cards ourselves still. It's rather annoying. Putting it all online is supposed to make our job easier, but we're just doing extra work. Gee, that's kind of par for the course of our district.

March 28, 2009

Tonight Michaela and I are going to go to a girl scout camp in at The Magic House. I'm kind of excited about it. I have good memories of the time I spent with her last year when we did this at The City Museum. It's a little stressful being around a hundred or so girls like that, but it's also fun. I love the The Magic House anyway. Hopefully, we won't be sleeping on a concrete floor this time.

I know Michaela is really looking forward to it. I bought her a new sleeping bag. She's really outgrown the one she had. It's pink camouflage. She's happy with it. We are both going to take an extra blanket so if we need to we can use the sleeping bags as cushion.

You know it's funny. I really disliked girl scouts when I was one, but the times I've been sharing with Michaela doing girl scout stuff with her has been a lot of fun. I have been determined to do as much with her as possible because I want her to know that she is important to me and that even when it's not something I'm interested in, if it's important to her it's important to me. But, also most of this stuff I cannot imagine missing out on. If I were not to go tonight I would be awake all night wondering what she was doing and how she was reacting to everything and be dying because I was not there to get pictures of it.

March 27, 2009

I took a personal day today and stayed home with my kids for their last day of their spring break. It was not a warm day, but it was still nice enough for them to go outside and play. They were outside riding their bikes when that bully showed up with two of his friends again. This time it was two different friends.

I stood in the garage and listened for a while and when they decided to get bold enough to come across the street towards our drive way I came out. I went crazy momma on them. I'm sure I got the attention of some of our neighbors. They made me so angry. They are quite a bit older than my kids and they come to pick on kids younger than themselves. I walked behind them until they were far enough away, about 5 blocks, that I was satisfied they were not coming back.

I used the day to just vegetate. I've been so tired this week I needed to just do nothing for a while. I think it helped because tonight when we got back from going out to eat I was ready to go for a walk. So, we put Abby on her leash and all four of us took her for a walk. It wasn't a long walk, about 4 blocks, because Abby doesn't go on walks much and she's old so we didn't want to have to carry her back home. She really enjoyed getting out like that. It was nice to go out and walk as a family.

March 26, 2009

Today was Friday for me. I am taking a personal day tomorrow. I have been completely drained this week. Actually, Monday wasn’t too bad. Tuesday I expected to feel like a wet noodle, because the second day back after a break is usually the hardest for me. But, Wednesday I was having a horrible time functioning because all I wanted to do was lay down and go to sleep. So, the kids and I are staying home tomorrow (it’s Spring Break for them) and I’m going to try to sleep as much as possible.

Tonight I pretty much just lay in bed and watched television again. I watched LOST again to catch the parts I missed. Then, I watched Grey’s Anatomy and Supernatural. Grey’s Anatomy was pretty good tonight. Supernatural was ok. It was a little lame, but it was one of those episodes that kind of breaks the tension that had been building. I can’t figure out if it’s the last one of the season or not, though. I hope not. Last week’s was much better, though.

March 25, 2009

I am completely drained today. I even had several co-workers ask me if I was feeling ok today so I guess it’s showing. All I could think about was climbing into bed and going to sleep. I’m not sure why I’m so tired, but I hope this passes soon. I hate feeling like this. I did not go to church because I can barely move.

I even called Michael and had him bring something home for supper because I just did not have it in me to make something. Although, I did manage to clean up the kitchen from breakfast this morning, so that was good. We actually had a couple dishes in the sink from last night, too. So, it was not a small job. It was not a huge job, either, but it was nice to feel at least that little bit of motivation.

March 24, 2009

My students came back to school today. It was good to have them back. I am really tired, but it felt good to get back into the regular routine. We only have 47 days left after today. This is the beginning of the end, the first day of 4th quarter so it’s pretty much downhill from here. The end of the school year always makes me feel a bunch of conflicting things.

I’ll be glad when it’s over and get that long break. But, I’ll be sad to see my students go. Every year each group is special for their own reason and I just fall in love with all of them. It’s hard to know they will not be in my classroom anymore.

Then again, it’s exciting to know I get to meet and get to know a whole new group when school starts back up. I also get excited about that time I get to spend with my own two children while school is out. And, it’s the time I get reflective on what I could have done differently and what I can change for next year to hopefully make things that did not go smoothly work better.

March 23, 2009

I went back to work today. It was a PD day so we had no students. Those are not my favorite days. I'd much rather be in the classroom with my students, but it was not a bad day today. It was one of the better PD days we've had.

Tonight was gymnastics night. I decided I am going to walk the length of the strip mall every Monday evening now since the sun is still up when we get there. The gym where Michaela does gymnastics is in the middle of a long strip mall. My plan had been to walk to one end, come back and go to the other end and then back to the middle again. But, the shoes I had on were not great for walking so I only went to one end and back. I need to remember to wear tennis shoes on Monday evenings from now on.

March 22, 2009

It's been a busy day for us today. I had to go to the grocery store before we went to church to get something to take to the bridal shower at church. I got taco dip and corn chips.

We went to church and after church Michaela, Gale and I stayed for the bridal shower. Michael, Caleb and Lloyd went to get pizza at Pizza Street. It was a long shower. It did not get over until after 3:00 p.m.

While we were gone, Michael took Caleb up to the park for a birthday party. Caleb had to be there by 2:00 p.m. It was for a little girl in his class. Caleb sent Michael away saying he didn't want Dad to stay with him. So, Michael was home when we got home.

I still had a lot of laundry to do so I started working on that. I also started working on some of my pictures. I found free photo editing software online the other day. It's really good for free software. Eventually, I'll probably buy something else, but for now this works well enough. It's been easy to learn how to use, too.

The kids had pb&j for supper. I still was not hungry after having cake so late at the shower. Michael grilled himself a hamburger on the bbq grill.

Around 6:10 or so, Michaela and I left. Her girl scout troop was scheduled to clean the V.F.W. post after a banquet. I took Michaela there and left her to do her thing with her troop. I came home and worked on laundry and pictures some more until it was time to pick her up again. I'm ready for bed now.

March 19, 2009

I have not felt good today. I don't know what is wrong, but every time I eat something I get horrible gas pains that last for about 2 hours or so. Then, I get hungry, I eat and it starts all over again. I did not sleep well last night, either so I've been really tired. I did nothing today so I accomplished nothing today.

Michael and Caleb had a pack meeting for cub scouts tonight. So, Michaela and I had some quiet time at home just the two of us. We watched House Hunters together. It was in Destin, Florida tonight. That was cool to see. I kind of flipped back and forth between that and Grey's Anatomy. I also watched Supernatural for the first time in weeks tonight. It was a really good episode.

Saturday, March 21, 2009

March 21, 2009

It was a busy morning for us. Michael needed an allergy shot so we went to his allergy doctor's office first off. Then, we went out to the Super Wal-mart in O'Fallon and did some shopping. I like going out there, it's fun.

When we were on our way home, we stopped at Culver's in O'Fallon and had lunch. It was good. I got a Turkey BLT sandwich this time and I enjoyed that much better than the hamburger I had last time. The kids and I all got ice cream, too.

When we got home the kids started their chores. I realized that we needed a birthday present and a wedding shower present and we'd not gotten them when we were out, so I went back out to get those.

Then, I spent time doing laundry and working on stuff for work a little.

Tonight we went to Trailhead for supper and then came home and just hung out.

Friday, March 20, 2009

March 20, 2009

Today, I balanced the check book. I also paid bills so that is all caught up now. I moved money from savings to checking to cover Michael's paycheck. We'll put his paycheck back in the savings account tomorrow.

I did some scrapbook supply shopping, too. That was fun, I've not done that in a while. Since I was out and about I stopped to have lunch at St. Louis Bread Company. YUM! I love that place. I had a turkey bravo sandwich and french onion soup. It was so good! I'd not been there in a while, either.

After that I stopped at Salvation Army and bought myself three pairs of pants, a t-shirt and a short sleeved sweater. It all only cost me $15.00 and the t-shirt and sweater still had store tags on them. I thought I did pretty good.

I picked the kids up on the way home. We were home by 1:30 pm. They played outside. I made a birthday card for my sister-in-law and then did a scrap book page for Michaela's book. It's a page done with a picture of her and Michael dancing at the My Guy and Me dance. It turned out really good. I'm very proud of it. Michaela loves it.

Tonight Michaela and I went to Thinking Day for girl scouts. It went really well. The girls did their song without a problem. They all seemed to enjoy it and it was nice being around the girls and their mom's. I enjoyed it, tonight.

March 18, 2009

Today was a really good day. I went and had lunch with an old classmate of mine. I haven't seen her in YEARS, but it was so much fun. We sat and talked for almost three hours. I enjoyed it so much. It was cool to get caught up and just find out what was going on with each other over the years. I really hope we can do it more often.

Tonight I took the kids to the skating rink. I was supposed to go to church, but I could tell Michael really did not want to go to the skating rink, so I took them. It was the last skating night for their school for the school year. They really wanted to go. Their principal is retiring after this year and she promised she'd roller skate tonight too. The kids just love her and are going to miss her very much. The parents are going to miss her too.

I got to talk to some other parents I know tonight and that's always fun, too. It was an enjoyable evening and both the kids had a lot of fun. That always makes for a good evening.

Now, I'm waiting for LOST to be over so I can watch it from the beginning. I'm going to look at the pictures that Griff took at my birthday party because he brought them over right before I left with the kids this evening. That should pass the time until I can watch LOST.

Tuesday, March 17, 2009

March 17, 2009

Yes, it's St. Patrick's Day, so happy St. Patrick's Day. It's not really something I celebrate, but it's nice to give a friendly greeting for whatever reason. Both kids did remember to wear green today. I hated that part at school. Kids always seem to be looking for a reason to do something mean to each other.

My morning was productive. I went to the grocery store right after I dropped the kids off at school. When I got home I cleaned up the kitchen and then vacuumed the whole house, including moving furniture and stuff. Then, I cleaned off my dresser and night stand, which is a task, including dusting them. I was productive until about 10:30 a.m. and then took the rest of the day for me.

I had Arby's for lunch. I watched Prozac Nation that I had rented from Netflix and played My Sims Kingdom on Wii. And, I went outside for a walk since it was nice.

This evening we had Ham 'n Beans with corn bread for supper. Well, I should say Michael did. I started feeling really bad right before supper and could not eat. Caleb had corn bread, but doesn't like beans so he had pb&j with apples and carrots with ranch. Michaela didn't want corn bread so she had pb&j and a small bowl of ham 'n beans with her apples and carrots.

I'm feeling a little better, but not much. I ate some jello but that is all. I did force myself to go on a motorcycle ride with Michael tonight, but seeing as how it's been about 8 years since I've been on the darned thing, I was not going to not go. He also gave each of the kids a ride, too.

The weather was amazing today. I kept the windows open and the attic fan on all day. Having the sun come in through our big window in the living room was so great. I really hope we don't have much cold weather any more until next winter. I'm so ready for spring and summer. Right now, though it's about 8:40 pm and we still have the attic fan on!

Monday, March 16, 2009

March 16, 2009

Today about the only productive thing I accomplished was getting bills paid. But, this was supposed to be my day to just relax and do nothing. I have other things I need to get done this week, but I am not going to worry if some things do not get done. It's my week to just slow down and not have to jam pack things into my days.

The weather was WONDERFUL today. I did go outside with the dog for a while. It got up to 70 today and was sunny and bright. The tree in the neighbor's yard across the street is starting to bloom. Spring seems to be on it's way.

Sunday, March 15, 2009

March 15, 2009

I went to church twice today. I got my lazy butt going early enough to get to my church this morning. It felt really good to be there. I took one of my new bibles with me and it really is cool seeing what the extra stuff says about the text the pastor used for the sermon.

I also went to church with Michael. It's really sad, but his church is struggling right now. I honestly would prefer to not go anymore, but I go with him to support him. There were only three kids for junior church today and two of them were ours. There are no kids left. Most of the congregation is over 60 and there were probably only about 75 people there today.

The kids played outside a lot today. It was a nice day and the fresh air does them a lot of good. Michael took them to the park after he got finished cleaning up the yard at our duplex. I wish we could afford to get rid of the trees up there, they really are too big for that small yard.

I made fillet mignon on my new indoor stove top grill thing I bought at the home and garden show. I think I'm going to have to practice with it more. They turned out ok, but it didn't seem to really cook them very hot. Maybe it will work better with chicken or steaks that are not so thick. But, it was still nice to have a steak for dinner.

Michael had a meeting at church tonight, too. It was a short meeting. Seems there's more gonna go on at his church in the upcoming weeks. I'm not sure what kind of effect it will have on the church. I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

Saturday, March 14, 2009

March 14, 2009

We went to get our taxes done today. That's always so much fun. It's not too painful, but it's still not on the top of my want to do list. The guy that does them for us is really nice, though. I like him and he is very good at explaining things when I get confused, which is a lot.

We took a bigger loss on the duplex this year, but it helped us out tax wise. We are getting a little bit back. I'm sure in a few years things will turn around and we'll have to find a way to put money into something else to keep from having to pay out a bunch at tax time.

The rest of the day we spent doing chores and laundry. I also went to Wal-mart. I saw someone there I'd not seen in a while. Her name is Yvette. She was Michaela's two year old teacher at Guppy and she worked with Caleb, some too. She is working at Little Guppy again. I was glad to hear that. She's great with the kids and I loved it when she worked with my kids.

Michaela went over to my mom's around 4:30 this afternoon. She's spending the night over there tonight. It's so much quieter with just one kid around. We went out to eat at Red Robin tonight. I wanted French Onion soup really bad and they have pretty good soup there.

After we got home Michael and I got caught up on Survivor. We had two episodes to watch. That was basically our day.

Friday, March 13, 2009

March 13, 2009

Ha! Who says Friday the 13th has to be a bad day? It was a pretty good day here. All my students came to school so they all were able to complete the tests I needed them to complete for end of the quarter. That made my day. I don't think I've had a testing day before this in which everyone was at school.

We had a good day in class, too. They all just worked really hard. We enjoyed our computer time and an extra recess. I am really happy with the way the day went.

And, now I'm on Spring Break. I have all of next week off. Michaela and Caleb do not have Spring Break until the following week so I'll have some time to myself this week. I have a lot I need to do and want to do, so I'm going to have to prioritize and see what is actually going to get accomplished. Either way I am not going to stress myself over what does not get done.

Thursday, March 12, 2009

March 12, 2009

I logged 32 minutes on my Wii Fit tonight. I'm really going to try to do that more often. It really does make me feel less stressed when I've exercised and I enjoy the "games" on Wii Fit. It can be a lot of fun, but it does work you out. I also feel more relaxed and am hoping this helps with sleep tonight. Last night was a better night. I woke up once around 12:30 because I had to go to the bathroom, but after that I slept soundly until it was time to get up.

I tried a couple new things on Wii Fit tonight. There is a soccer ball game where you have to head soccer balls. I did not do well with that. I was doing ok, until they started throwing shows and balls the shape of cow heads at me. Gosh, that just threw me way off! It was funny and my daughter laughed her butt off at me.

I really enjoyed the ski jump game. I got the hang of it. I ended up with a score of 300 meters for my best round. Pretty good for the first few times playing that. Michaela was annoyed that I smoked her best score. That'll teach her to laugh at people throwing shoes at her mother's head.

I'm pretty good at the hoola hoops, too, but not as good as I'd like to be. I worked off my supper, too and now I'm hungry.

Wednesday, March 11, 2009

March 11, 2009

I turned in cookie money tonight and I gave a check to pay for our spot for the sleep over at The Magic House at Michaela's girl scout meeting tonight. I did not stay for the meeting I went to church. I am trying to make it to church every Wednesday during Lent. They are short services, but still I feel better having gone.

I slept better last night, but I'm still tired. Not near as tired as I was last night, though. I am going to go to bed a little earlier than usual tonight, though. Just two more days until the weekend. It's going to be nice to have time to myself next week, but part of me wishes the kids were on Spring Break, too so I wouldn't have to get up with them.

Tuesday, March 10, 2009

March 10, 2009

I have not been this exhausted since Michaela was a baby. I don't have the energy to even think about spending much time online tonight. I hope I can sleep better tonight.

Monday, March 9, 2009

March 9, 2009

It's Monday again. BUT, this is the beginning of the last week before Spring Break. Yeah! I'm so ready for this break. It's also the last week of third quarter so when we go back after Spring Break we will be on the home stretch to the end of the school year. It's been a long stressful year, but I feel I've accomplished a lot.

I had a hard time going to sleep last night. But, once I got to sleep I was sleeping well until my cellphone rang at 4:00 a.m. I was not a happy person. I have no idea who it was. It was more than likely a wrong number, but still it really pissed me off. I hate having my sleep interrupted like that. I couldn't go back to sleep after that.

Tonight was parent participation night at Michaela's gymnastics class. I went out on the floor with her, but I did not do any of the stuff with her. I know I'd have embarrassed her and myself. One of the other moms got stuck in the pit. I felt bad for her, but it was kind of funny. I know that would have happened to me if I'd gone down in the pit.

I did not get to take pictures, though. I thought it was next week so I did not take my camera. My phone battery was dead, too so I couldn't use the camera on my phone, either. That bummed me out. I guess I'll have to make sure I don't get the dates confused next time.

Sunday, March 8, 2009

March 8, 2009

It's been a busy Sunday. We went to church and out to eat with Michael's parents. Michaela and I ran around delivering more cookies. I will be so glad when all of them have been delivered and we're finished with them for another year.

I've also been working on laundry and grades. This week is the last week of third quarter for me so I'm trying to get everything in place that is behind now so I don't have to work too much during Spring Break.

Saturday, March 7, 2009

March 7, 2009

We went to the Home and Garden show today. We rode Metro-Link down to the convention center. It was a nice family day. I enjoyed it very much. The kids got plastic yellow hard hats and orange Home Depot aprons. I think they enjoyed looking at all the things down there. They did get to play on the playground displays.

They had some gorgeous landscaping displays. There were also some awesome swimming pools there, too. I really wish we could put a pool in our yard, but I just don't know if it's feasable or if we should spend that kind of money. I kind of wish we were able to move to a little bit bigger house first. But, we may be in the house for good.

I did buy a few things. I got some 600 thread count Egyptian cotton sheets for only $22.00. I also got a really cool little grill thing that you can grill things on your stove with. It's supposed to be smokeless. And, I got a cheese/food grater/chopper.

Friday, March 6, 2009

March 6, 2009

Yeah! It's Friday! I am really ready for the weekend. We didn't do much tonight. It was nice to just be home with my family. We got a pizza from Stefanina's and just hung out around home. It's supposed to be nice this weekend, so the kids will get some outside time. That is a good thing. They need the fresh air. They did go outside for a while this evening.

I will be glad when the weather turns warmer for good and we're on our way to summer. I am going to be more than ready for summer this year. Last year at this time we were counting down the weeks to our vacation to Destin. We're not planning on going anywhere this summer, but I still plan to enjoy it completely.

Thursday, March 5, 2009

March 5, 2009

The week is almost over. I'm glad. I'm really tired this week. I do not seem to be sleeping well lately. I just have a really hard time getting comfortable anymore. I believe it's because of our mattress. It is over 15 years old. I really want a pillow top mattress. Michael has been very adverse to buying a new mattress. I know it's a lot of money, but seriously, ours is old and needs to be replaced. Maybe soon he'll agree with me.

Wednesday, March 4, 2009

March 4, 2009

Just some random thoughts/happenings from today:

I broke down and had a good cry this morning before work. I needed that. I really felt better after it.

My students really seemed to have fun with our vocabulary lesson and our math lesson today.

Mr. Coleman made fun of me being short. No, he wasn't mean, just silly.

I really love my co-workers.

Michaela still has a cough, but her eyes look better, like she's getting better.

The kids got to play outside when we got home tonight.

Michael is working late tonight. I hope he'll be hungry when he gets home, I made pot roast, potatoes and corn.

It's LOST night!

My kids got on my nerves a little while ago because they were arguing. Then, they got out their new bibles and were reading them together. Kids are weird.

Oh, and one of our second graders had a tube of what the gym teacher thought was lip gloss taken away from her. Once he saw it he realized it was "sensual lubricant."

Tuesday, March 3, 2009

Michaela's girl scout troop had a cookie booth at the grocery store not far from our house this evening. Michaela worked at it from 4:00 - 6:00. She goes home with her girl scout leader on Tuesdays anyway because of violin practice so it was really easy to have her work this booth. She really likes doing that, too. It seems they did really well for a week night. Yeah!!!!

I'm just really happy with how Girl Scouts is going for Michaela. She loves it and her leader is great. All of the moms that are involved with our troop are great too. We just got very lucky with this group of people. I have nothing but positive things to say about them all. And, no I'm not just saying that because some of them are on my friends list on Facebook. Love ya, ladies!!!

March 2, 2009

Michaela went back to school today. I don't think she really wanted to, but her fever is gone and we all need to get back to regular life. Besides, Mondays are her SOAR days and I know she doesn't like to miss that. She had to turn in a field trip form to her SOAR teacher anyway.

It was really cold today. I'm so tired of being cold. I usually am not grouchy about winter weather, but I'm so over winter this year. I'm so ready for it to get warm and stay warm. What's funny is my seasonal depression is nothing this year compared to what it usually is, but I'm just sick of the cold.

One good thing about Monday nights is The Big Bang Theory is on television. I usually record it because it's on at 7:00 and that's when I'm at gymnastics with Michaela. But, I do watch it before I go to bed on Mondays. It's just the funniest sit com in a LONG TIME. It's hilarious.

March 1, 2009

Michaela is feeling a little better, but we still did not go to church today. It was a quiet Sunday, mostly. Normal stuff like laundry happened.

This evening we did go out to eat at Pasta House just to get out of the house for a while. We went by Michael's brother's house and dropped off cookies for them. I was a dummy and forgot two of their boxes, but we have them put aside for them. After that we dropped cookies for Michael's parents.

When we got home we started sorting out the rest of the cookies. Michael always types out slips for all the people who order cookies so we can include that with their bagged cookies. We bag them up for everyone, too.

After my mom's cookies and all the cookies her co-workers ordered were ready I took them up the street to my mom. We did really good we got all 250 boxes bagged and tagged by the 8:30. So, tomorrow I get to start collecting money and delivering cookies at work.
