November 16, 2007 ~ Michaela's Day

Michaela had a half day of school today. Michael's mom picked her up from school so she did not have to go to Guppy today. It sounds like the pick up was a little rocky since they were not ringing bells, but everyone got where they were supposed to be so it ended up o.k.

It sounds like she had fun playing with Grammy and Papa yesterday. She loves going over there like that on half days. I actually had planned to take the day off and spend her afternoon with her, but then they changed our calendar at my school and moved Parent/Teacher Conferences to this week. So, I couldn't take the day off. Maybe next time.

Michael's mom was showing Michaela some keys on her keyboard when I picked her up. They were using one of my favorite hymns to practice from, "The Old Rugged Cross." That was cool to watch, although she stopped very soon after I walked into the room.

Michaela has also been using their Nordic Track treadmill. She can out run her grandmother on it. She just giggles the whole time she's on it. I'm not sure what's so funny, but she's having fun when she's running on it.
