Another Thanksgiving has come and gone. It was a very peaceful one here. It was a really nice day. The meal was great. My turkey turned out better than ever this year. I was so proud. My mom said it was the best turkey she'd ever had.
We had a great visit this time, too. No one got upset or snapped at anyone. That has to be a record for my family. Especially when my mom and brother are in the same building.
My mom, Karen (my sister-in-law), Michaela and I (with the help of Caleb) played a couple games after dinner. We played Uno Attack and I won! I beat them all badly. Hehehehehe. Then, we played Clue and again I won! My daughter was amazed her mom could play games so well. I think it's the first time we played board games other than the kids' games we have together. She amazes me. She picks up on the strategy of a game so quickly. She came in second place with Uno Attack.
Everyone left around 8:00 p.m. We have almost no turkey leftovers since everyone stayed for supper, too. But, it was a really good day and that's what's important. It was so nice to enjoy the evening and have my house clean.
