Today, Michaela and I are home together. I sent Caleb off to school. He was not happy that his school is open and Sissy's is not. But, it's also his day for Gymnastics on Wheels and I know he doesn't want to miss that. Michaela and I will go get him this afternoon. He's getting to be such a big boy. I can't believe how fast he's changing all of the sudden.
Last night I did most of the grocery shopping for Thanksgiving. There was a group of people there buying TONS AND TONS of food. I heard them talking to the cashier next to the lane I was in. They were donating it all. They had FOUR big pick up trucks in the parking lot that they filled up as full as they could get. It sounds like they take up a donation at work and then a few of them are designated to go buy the food. It was cool to see.
Michaela and I will finish up the shopping today. Because, of course there are things I forgot. That should be a lot of fun, NOT! I need to go to Deirbergs and Wal-Mart and I know it's going to be crazy out there today.
We are also going to clean like crazy today. If time permits I may take her out to lunch, but I'm not sure. We'll see how it all goes. She is supposed to have a girl scout meeting tonight, but I don't know if she's going to make that. She says she wants to stay home and help me. If she does go, Daddy will have to take her this time. Again, we'll see hw things go.
