November 28, 2007 ~ I'm Such a Kid!

Tonight they showed a new Christmas special on ABC. It was "Shrek the Halls." I love Shrek and have seen all three movies. The third one I even got to see at the theater because Michael and I took the kids the weekend it came out. I was so excited about this. I've not been this excited about a Christmas special since I was a kid. "They Year Without a Santa Claus" was always my favorite.

Anyway, not only did I get to watch it tonight but they had one of my favorite songs in it. At the beginning they had "Christmas Wrapping" by The Waitresses in it. That was so cool. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, LOVE that song.

The kids and I ate popcorn and watched it and "How the Grinch Stole Christmas" tonight. It was fun. With all our technology we have now a days, it's rare that we all race to watch something when it's on and enjoy it together.
